George MacDonald Fraser

Yesterday morning I switched on the TV to see that George MacDonald Fraser had died at the age of 82. This man will be mainly remembered for authoring the Flashman Papers. My bookshelves hold about twelve of George MacDonald Fraser’s books - I do not own as many books by any other single author.

Rest in peace and thank you for your wonderful books (both fiction and non-fiction) and your contributions to the storylines for the James Bond films. Thank you also for showing that Scotland can export something good as opposed to  anti English prejudice and corrupt, inadequate politicians.
